Fruits and Vegetables add natural vitamins and minerals to your body.

We all know that our body is made up of unique organisms that helps us to function healthily on a daily basis. Our Immune system is nestled around some of these organs and is a very delicate system. According to research, the immune system is based in the lymphatic system and bloodstream. There are two cells within our lymphatic system referred to as lymphocytes; the B-cells and the T-cells. The T-cells can destroy foreign bodies, while the B-cells "secretes antibodies against undesirable foreign bodies to eliminate them." So they pretty much work as a team to protect our body against undesirable diseases. Our immune system is key to our health as it fights off, sicknesses and illnesses (including cancer, colds, flus, allergies etc.). When we become ill or sick, if not life threatening, over time, your body will naturally heal itself. However, recovery time is totally relative to your illness of sickness of course, but you can speed it up or eliminate your recovery period by bolstering your body's defense to free radicals some of which are naturally in the atmosphere we breathe.
Vitamin C is our immune systems' #1 super defense tool among others; our immune system needs this vitamin to function. Another vitamin which is also important is Vitamin A because it is an important anti-viral. However, there are other vitamins and minerals that play an intricate part in the overall function of the immune system. Let us not forget Calcium, the B-vitamins, Vitamin E, Protein, fiber, and all the other vitamins and minerals that we are accustomed to taking over the years. However, nature provides the best vitamins on the markets today and these natural vitamins can be hand-picked right from your supermarket or farmers market in the forms of fruits and vegetables.
